Kandel
Kandel is a mountain at the north side of St. Peter.
It is 1242 m high and you have a lovely seen to the Vosges Mountains in France and the Rhine Valley.
You finde a restaurant and right next to it a quite popular start ramp for hang-gliders and paragliders.
To the north of the restaurant lies the high-moor, a natural monument with heather and Borstgras.
Before 300 – 500 years, as the legend tells,the region witches celebrated their high feasts.
